Of course, it depends on how jazz is defined, although I doubt if the so-called "smooth jazz" albums should qualify.

Anyway, I'd have to agree that "Time Out" had to be one. Miles Davis' "*****es Brew" may have hit the top five. Stan Getz in one of his Bossa Nova albums with Antonio Jobim is probably in there, as well. Certainly George Benson's "Breezin'". After that, I draw a blank.

BTW, newbie here, wondering if true jazz is dead...
