I buy CD's as well Extreme but a few weeks ago a band out of Montreal offered a FLAC download of their new album, which when you convert to WAV is as good as the one you buy, and they get the majority of the profit for their album doing it themselves, that is the point I was making about the old obsolete way the recording industry does business. And yeah checking out a band before you buy the whole album is a good thing. |
