The September 10th Bruce Springsteen concert at the Sommet Center is being moved. The new date is Wednesday, November 18th. The third time “Born to Run” has been played live.
The assembled devotees are going crazy this year when Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are expected to perform the album "Born to Run" in its entirety on the stage. That album is eight undeniable anthems in a row, from “Thunder Road” straight through “Jungleland”. So just fancy what explotion at Nashville's Sommet Center are going to go on November 18, when Bruce and Co. will perform “Born to Run” in its entirety, as their representatives have just confirmed to the Music Mix.
Bruce Springsteen called “The Boss” is an American singer, guitarist and songwriter. He is born in 1949 and comes from New Jersey, USA. The Boss has received many prestigious awards for his work, including nineteen Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes, Emmy Awards and an Academy Award and continues to be supported by millions of his fans. His fans are all over the world and due to this he has sold more than 65 million albums in the United States and 120 million worldwide.
On May 3, 2009 at Madison Square Garden was a celebration of Pete Seeger’s 90th birthday and The Boss was part of the lineup of The Clearwater Concert.
U2, Metallica, Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Crosby, Stills, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Paul Simon, Aretha Franklin, Nash and Friends and Simon and Garfunkel “built the legand” of rocking music confirmed for two-night concert event celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
On October 29th and 30th at New York’s Madison Square Garden, the shows will feature Hall of Fame acts sharing the stage with guests and collaborators, honoring their influences and essentially retracing the history of rock in the process.
New York Times said that for decades Springsteen has always played about life, families, jobs etc. It claims that Bruce has the gravitas to lead off a presidential inaugural concert and the gusto to rock the Super Bowl.
Here is an example for a film inspired by Bruce’s music. Sean Penn has written and directed The Indian Runner. He has specifically noted as being inspired by Springsteen’s song “Highway Patrolman”.
The first time when his music was linked with televisions and movies was in John Sayles film Baby, It’s you (1983). In Jonathan Demme film - Philadelphia (1993), Springsteen won an Oscar for his song “Streets of Philadelphia”. Later he deserves his second Oscar, for "Dead Man Walkin'", from the movie Dead Man Walking (1995). Springsteen also wrote an eponymous song for the film - The Wrestler (2008) directed by Darren Aronofsky. The song won a Golden Globe Award on January 11 (2009) for Best Original Song. "The Wrestler" has also been nominated for the MTV Movie Award as "Best Song from a Movie".
