"The Pink Jungle") I would call avant-garde, but again, with the live performance qualifier. The soundtrack to More has some very trippy moments. It probably comes closest to an "avant-garde" album.. some would differ I'm sure. Maybe parts of Ummagumma though it's conventional in its own ways. http://www.muzicforums.com/avant-gar...-fantomas.html (Fantomas) That's one of Mike Patton's many bands but if you listen to all of his bands, they are pretty much all avant-garde/experimental. Look up Mr. Bungle, Peeping Tom and Tomahawk.
