Just acquired Faust IV yesterday, I'll get back to you after I've had some time to really listen to them.

Okay Magic, I just listened to Faust IV, I loved the title of the 2nd track, Song for a sad Skinhead,,,lol,,,and I'm not kidding. Really different stuff, I don't think you being a mellow girl would like this style of experimental music, but you have surprised me before. I will have to listen to it a couple more times to really get a feel for this band, but I like this album so far.

If you dig the more experimental shit on it, you should go for The Faust Tapes.

I don't mind a bit of Wakes Nosferatu now and then, but, of course, their magnum opus is Derbe Respect, Alder, because Dälek makes it better than anything they could do on their own.

Well yeh, Dalek did a good job with that, but c'mon. I think their best songs are Meadow Meal, Why Don You Eat Carrots and Jennifer.

But for anyone getting into them, the albums, not the individual songs are the focus.

I must admit, I don't have Faust IV, so I couldn't much agree or disagree on the last one. Miss Fortune is the best on the eponymous, though. Well, until like the last 6 minutes where they Faust out and stop doing anything.

Yeh, those 6 minutes are a big reason why I think their next 3 and several of their later albums scaled greater heights.
