GuitarLegends is a pretty good read, I don't get it often but I do have the Dimebag Darrel Tribute issue. I watched It Might Get Loud and they take Page back to the house that they recorded in and he talks about how they set everything up in this entryway to get this almost concert hall effect.

Well here goes! all four members decided to come up with symbols which represented themselves.

John Paul Jones~~circle over three ovals=a person with competence and confidence.

Bonham~~three interlocking circles=man, woman, child trilogy (Bonham just liked it)

Plant~~circle with a feather=justice and fairness and is the symbol of a writer.

Page~~made his own "Zoso"=and it still remains a mystery today! it is the alchemical for mercury and some theorize it represents tantrical sex. In 1994 he was asked what it meant, he replied, "frying tonight"

Anyway, just thought you would find this interesting.
That's pretty cool. Nice post.

Default Led Zeppelin

All of Led Zeppelin's original albums reached the top 10 on the Billboard top 100. With 6 of the 10 reaching the #1 spot. They are the 2nd best selling band in the United States, only behind the Beatles, and have sold over 220million records worldwide.

John Paul Jones was one of my biggest inspirations as a Bass player. And as far as i'm concerned Led Zeppelin is the heaviest band of all time. I don't know of any hard rock or metal band that hasn't been inspired by them.

Wouldn't call them the heaviest band of all time. Think there are much heavier.

There are some bands not influenced by them.

Love them though Bonham and Page are two influences on my drumming and guitar playing.
