i sound like a major nerd here but i really like that song because it'a creepy but still has a really nice melody and crescendos so amazingly. i've just heard it so much i'm looking for something new that's really eerie but still pretty.

any suggestions?

Well, Midnight Syndicate does alot of that creepy orchestra stuff, you should check them out.

Tchaikovsky's great "Swan Lake" ballet, has a lot of the type of music you are looking for, I would think.

It has a dark, mysterious setting, and was very popular with composers who scored the old "Dracula" and "Frankenstein" films genre. You could almost say that one of its principal melodies, was Dracula's theme song.
