In case you haven't heard, Kanye West had yet another one of his crazy antics in awards shows. This time it was at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. When the first award was presented to the winner - Taylor Swift for You Belong With Me (Female Video of the Year), Kanye West took the stage, grabbed the mic (and the award form poor Swift) and said, "Taylor, I'm really happy for you, and I'm gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time."

WTF?! What is wrong with this guy? Seriously.. Such an egotistical human being. I really felt bad for Taylor since it's her first win at the VMAs and for her to experience that? It's unfair.. Just unfair.

This reminds me of when ODB interrupted Shawn Colvin at the Grammys! I'm not going to lie but I thought that was one of the most hilarious parts of any Grammys I've ever seen! That and Soybomb!





Those were funny in a mean way! Kanye was just pathetic! Now on Kanye, I always separate the music itself from the artist but I'm not going to stick up for Kanyes attention grabbing antics ever again! Grow up Kanye! It's unfortunate that I like your music because apparently you're too insecure to let it stand on it's own! With Beyonce and Taylor Swift, I don't care for their music but they both handled this with class! I think that's the only props I'll ever give Beyonce!

Yes. Beyonce exemplified such classy act in letting Taylor give her acceptance speech. Kanye's such a douche and if this continues, people may no longer appreciate his music no matter how good it is bec of the attitude..

I can't speak for yours Vinny but plenty of my favorite artists are cocky and I've always taking it as part of the package but Kanye is just being insecure and desperate at this point! It's sad because I was so relieved that the Michael Jackson comment was proven false and then he pulls this! Some notoriety is one thing but this is self sabotage! Dee dee dee!

Very bad taste on his part.

To me, the sign of a great artist is not only what they do on stage, but how
they handle the money, power, and attention off it.

Kanye is just another in a long line of arrogant, self-absorbed punks that let
fame go to their heads.

For many, fame is it's own prisoner. I understand that. Not that I feel sorry
for celebrities, mind you. They are very well compensated for the trade they
ply.

Every bio I 've read has one thing in common. Most artists kick, scratch,
and fight to attain the fruits fame brings. But they tend to forget it also
means great pressure and responsibility once grabbed. Many can handle it,
some can't. But if you were to give most famous people a choice to going
back to being an anonymous nobody vs worldwide celebrity, it'd be a no-brainer.

Anyway, as far as West....I was never a huge fan. Now I'm even less.

I felt bad for Taylor Swift. Kanye is just a p.o.s nothing more nothing less. He is to mouthy for his own good.

Beyonce and Taylor Swift were very classy with the way they handled it. I love the crowds reaction to Kanye as well. They showed their disgust with his rude and idiotic act.
