My picks are:
'Live Like You Were Dying"
"Independence Day"
"Moments"
"Don't Blink"
"You're gonna Miss This"
"I hope you dance"
Any to add? Delete?

To me there are a lot of songs out there in country music that have strong lyrics. In my opinion the newest one would be the newest song from LeAnn Rimes named "Give".![]()

God bless you and her always!!!![]()

Holly (a day one fan of LeAnn)
"Whisky Lullaby" Brad Paisley & Alison Krauss 2004
"Buenas Noches From A Lonely Room (She Wore Red Dresses)" Dwight Yoakam 1988
"Travelin' Soldier" Dixie Chicks 2002
QUEEN OF THE SUPERFICIAL
For me its "Temporary Home" and "Just a Dream", both by Carrie Underwood.
To me the most powerful lyrics from a male is "Soldiers & Jesus" from my most favorite, James Otto.![]()

I love "If I Die Young" by The Band Perry. It's not to complex, but it gets to me everytime!
I like Hurt by Johnny Cash ~ Considering it's a cover of a song of a different genre completely, he did an amazing job.
Ain't No Grave
Hurt
Personal Jesus
I walk the line
Thirteen
God's Gonna Cut you down
-All by Johnny Cash (some are covers)
If Tomorrow Never Comes - Garth Brooks
You ain't the first - Guns N' Roses
at a few others, mostly from older country artists, new country sucks :P
Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a Man of Wealth and Taste
anything by johnny cash he is the only country singer i like
metal music is like an apple; the core belongs in the trash
Music is like candy you throw away the rappers.
I just thought that I would point out that Mr Cash did not write this song...It is by Trent Reznor (spelling?)
Check out the original version by NIN...I like certain parts as performed by NIN better and certain parts by cash better.

"I wanna have my kicks before the whole sh!thouse goes up in flames." Jim Morrison
Check him about James Otto, A good place to start would be by listening to his song named "I Just Got Started Loving You" because it went on to be the #1 country song of 2008 and also scored James a Grammy award nomination in early 2009 along with his being a co-writer of the song named "In Color" done by Jamey Johnson which went on to be named the 2009 CMA and ACM Song of the Year.
I like Taylor Swift, she is very beautiful and lovely. She takes other people comfortably through her songs. Can anyone send her famous songs to help me?
