My singing is not really country, but the background music is country-ish.
So what genre would you consider this song, country?? or not?

Like the song above, it's also a song I wrote about my Dad after he died, except I changed the story around so that it's about the loss of a mother instead because I was writing too many songs about my Dad, I thought I needed a change

The storytelling and visual imagaery are definitely country, but how about overall??
WARNING: this song may make you cry, especially if you know a disabled person, or have a loved one in a nursing home, like I did. I've had several people start crying right in front of me while I played this song for them, which surprised me, and then I figured I guess it must be a good song if it makes people cry :-(

Funny that you should mention that, because I was thinking about creating a Vimeo account because they allow higher quality playback of videos. But that will take time to upload videos, and where I live in Honolulu, Oceanic Time Warner cable has slow a** cable speed, in fact I actually get disconnected sometimes.
