Screw this, I'll just get assaulted by a thousand fanboys screaming their praises.

Led Zeppelin 4 has one good song...When The Levee Breaks. Master Of Puppets has 4. Regardless, they're still overrated.

No doubt Kurt was the creative force in Nirvana but those of you who heap all of the credit on the head of one individual have clearly never been in a band for any length of time. Very few artists can realize their full potential alone. It takes the chemistry of others, namely in this case, someone like Dave Grohl to enable a Kurt Cobain to break out.

My facts are fine.

Wow... It seems to me that you guys are applying the term "overrated" to bands you simply don't care for. In their time, many of these bands were considered innovators even if they have become dated by today's standards. Personally, I hate The Beach Boys and all that California surfin' crap (even though that's where I live!) but to call them overrated is incorrect. They were The Back Street Boys of their time and they spawned a zillion clones. Emerson Lake and Palmer were part of an entire movement in music along with bands like Yes, King Crimson and even to a degree, Pink Floyd. I could go on and on but the bottom line is, to label some of these artists overrated exposes you as not being musically conscious during the peak years of their influence.

Wow, comparing the Beach Boys to the Backstreet Boys...Anway, yah, I say they're overrated because I don't like them, and other people do. That's usually what overrated means. I'm not saying they aren't important bands, I just don't like them. Eh?
