Curious that you suggest Secret Chiefs 3, though. You must be in some rather odd circles (and frankly, it makes you cooler than I'd expect).
As for the rest: bah! Not really similarly evocative, I would say.

Lol, sorry, its really hard to find stuff that sounds similar to an artist like that. Its so very distinct. This is as close as I could think. Good luck

I don't think you can go wrong with Kenny Wayne Shepherd or Steve Vai (from mothers of invention, Frank Zappa). There are so many guys out there these days, you almost need to decide if you are looking for a guitar gymnast who makes it look cool, or just somebody who plays clean and strong. So it may be a choice between looks and skill ultimately.
So if you can be a little more picky of what you are looking for and I can suggest some more players for you.

Listen to more Tom Waits, John Prine and Live stuff From Jason Mraz, that's the music suggestions I have. It doesn't make a difference what type of music you are into, you will be into this stuff if you give it a change, I guarantee it!

I'd like to hear some new speedcore music. G. F. B., D.O.A., and Watanabe are getting kind of boring. And maybe some good futurepop that isn't VNV Nation or Apoptygma Berzerk or I.O.C., if anyone has any on hand and doesn't mind.

That's quite a nice list,Drake Kamhout.
I wish I could help you. Have you tried listening to Vampire Weekend? I just started liking them myself recently.
