    Default Love Battery

Love Battery is an American psychedelic rock/grunge band from Seattle, Washington.

For the most part Love Battery was an unusual group in the early 90's Seattle music scene. Blending intense swirling psychedelic guitar work, pulsating rhythms, driving beats and heartfelt vocals derived from '60s garage/psych, '70s punk rock, '80s post punk and '90s grunge, their music was significantly more complex than most of the music associated with that era.

Although they never achieved the commercial success of many of their contemporaries, they nonetheless retained a fervent cult following that continues to this day.

    Discography

    Between the Eyes (1991)

    Dayglo (1992)

    Far Gone (1993)

    Straight Freak Ticket (1995)

    Confusion Au Go Go (1999)

Excellent, excellent. Excellent. I love this band.

My copy of Dayglo is beat all to hell from going through a period of continual use.

I saw them open for Afghan Whigs once and they just tore the place up. Not that Afghan Whigs were slouches. One of the best double bills I've ever seen.

Never had time and mood to listen to more than 2 first albums but I liked them a lot. They were a bit different from the other stuff (which in a way was all different from itself..?) and pretty unique. Too bad they didn't get attention - maybe better production, some things like that and they'd be one of "those that people recognize"

I really wish you guys would just post links to the videos rather than embedding them, I always lag.

Anways this is the first time I have heard of this band and they are awesome! I might get one of their albums

    +1
