so i got all my guitar rig set up and i start playing, the computer's built in mic and vid camera is recording but when i play it back , the video is alright but i get this "flanger" effect when the sound is recorded (i am just using distortin, i do not want the flangy effect), how can i position my guitar amp so that the computer's mic will pick up the sound at semi-good quality??

ex: "put the amp under the computer's built in mic", etc.

Hello there,

The best way is to not have your gain too high and don't put the amp so close to the microphone.

If this doesn't work, I would suggest trying another audio editing program, GarageBand is really good (you can plug your amp directly into your microphone port, if you have a Macintosh that is).

There are many programs where you can plug your guitar directly into your PC for Windows, trust me. Go to your local guitar store and ask them about it, I'm sure they'll have some answers.
