I choose Gibson over Fender because they've figured out that humbuckers actually do sound better than single-coils and, well, they don't have that lame stratocaster filth all over the market.

But Ibanez is better.

Thumbs up

Ibanez, get out of here with that. I can't believe that you would put Ibanez above Gibson, you must have some magical Ibanez guitar because I have never seen anything about them that I thought was so much better, or better at all.

Well I guess every body has an opinion and that's just mine, right.

Hey even a cheap guitar sounds amazing in the right hands!

G&L Legacy special ftw.

Fender, Gibson, and Jackson all have made really great guitars, but at the end of the day they are all mass produced and from what I have seen lately, poorly put together.

I personally wont touch a Fender or Gibson that is in any reasonable price range for me. for the soul reason as there are much better guitars on the market for less money.

now as dream guitars go I'll have to go to G&L and sort through their veritable cornucopia of awesome guitars.

Agreed, too many great guitar makers out there to limit yourself to 3 companys.

I'm voting Jackson cause Ibanez isn't on there. I love thin necks for shred, and a Jackson can get you that. I also like their X shape that Trey Azagoth from Morbid Angel plays.
