Default Tone Time!

I'm in a bind. I was listening to Blind Guardian this morning again and I can't help but wonder, how the Hell does Andre Olberch get that epic lead tone? Any idea's anybody?

Finding tone is one of the biggest quest being a great guitar player. Its a lot of work actually and a lot of twidling and experimenting.Finding the right gear for you is one way achieving it.Its nice to have influence regarding tone, but it's much better finding you original tone or sound.
