Does Anyone Know Any Exotic Guitar Chords? Like what Steve Ray Vaughn used and jimi hendrix? and please don't list all the chords that they used.... lol. I want some different chords besides bar chords, power chords and your usual chords that every other song uses.....

try learning a few jazz chords like 7th's 9th's 11ths and 13ths..as well as some altered chords

maybe sus and add chords too there is a great chord that jimi hendrix used called a flatted ninth i think... i cant remember...

but jazz is the way to go if your looking to expand your chord knowledge, and it helps with understanding chord construction too

Invent your own chords. You could sit down at a piano and try various combinations of notes. Then translate them over to the guitar.
