Everytime i just try to practice i just dont get it and the problem is i dont even know how to practice. If you could just tell me how to practice fer this thing it would be great.

Have you ever watched great guitar players, they all look at the neck, maybe not every second, but they look at the neck when playing lead guitar and traveling up and down the guitar neck.
Now here's a point to be made, great guitar players can play without looking at the neck also. BUt when it comes to flying up and down the neck at blazing speed, check them out......they look even if it's out the corner of thier eyes, don't be faked into believing they don't look.

You really need to be able to play both ways.
If you want to play without looking, turn the lights off at night and play.

start with scales, they suck and are a pain in the ass and you dont ever want to pick up a guitar again when you are done.

however, you will thank you're lucky stars you started with them. just work on the shapes of the scales and playing around within them.

That's hard! I have difficulty in playing my guitar too..
