able to play...Help?(Details) Okay, I'm promising myself that I learn guitar by the end of this summer, I already have a guitar (Actually, a nice guitar...) I have the Applause By Ovation, and it's acoustic/electric, but I don't have an amp, so it's acoustic.

What I REALLY want to learn is the Jonas Brothers music, Jack Johnson, and even Miley Cyrus...

Anyone know a FREE online tutorial/site I can use to teach myself? I've tried books and they are really tough...I can read music/notes, because I've played Piano for 10 years, so that isn't a problem for me, and I also know how to tune the guitar, so all I need is help LEARNING
I know I can teach myself, I just need a tutorial, I already have a piano teacher so a guitar teacher is out of the question, plus I want to prove to myself and my parents that I can do this, so it's really important to me.

Im playing guitar too... im also doing accoustic but guitar isnt something you can learn yourself. I have a guitarr teacher... What i did was i went to the place i got my guitarr ( GuitarCenter) and i asked the people if they knew any teachers they gave me a list and i called and i got my lessons a week later.... Idk if that helped u but here u go...
