Alright I'm interested in learning to play the guitar. I have never before picked up an electric guitar and played it. and I have no idea about all the guitar terminology-except chords.
What would be the best computer software to learn how to play? I would prefer if your recomendations were from your personal experiences
Any other ways I can learn to play besides lessons?

it is electric but it resonates loud enough to be played without an amp. 24-fret

i would suggest taking lessons, but if not, i dont know any programs, but you should only use the software a certain amount of time, then go on your own to do what you want.
