Anyone have any experience with these? I'm thinking when i get some spare money, buying one for someone.

Questions...

1) Are they a decent guitar? Solid body, headstock etc

2) Does it provide a good tone?

3) Is the neck easy to play on?

Thank you.

For a beginner, it's ok.
I think an epiphone les paul would suit you better for the price.

Yeah I've had one, as in past tense I got rid of it a.s.a.p
The guitar looks amazing I know, but it sucked for me, the pickups sucked, and it was heavy as hell, I tell ya it'll kill your back. its got a horrible buzz when you play in the lower notes, it was just icky. I hocked it to a guy for 200 bucks, and he hated it too. So if you do get it I say get some EMG pickups, OR seymore duncans. So yeah....I say dont get it.
