...Music business? I heard Mandy Moore on Leno or something and she was outright HORRIBLE!!!!!! I heard Minnie Driver singing there, and she was not tooo bad. However, I know that there are way better singers in local clubs struggling to survive and it just ticks me off seeing an actor try to sing, and is very terrible at it. what do you think?

I have to agree, it is sad that alot of actors and musicians get into the business simply on their name or family contacts.
I am not a big fan of Mandy Moore, and I feel she acts much better than she sings. Who knows where her career is going these days though, now she is into clothing design

I do feel that there is one actor that has a very rich family history in the movie business, who has made a success of himself without family influence is, Nicholas Cage. But I believe he has kept his talents strictly to acting.

I will have to research it a bit, but I read somewhere that Sylvester Stallone even tried a singing career. Geesh, I can't imagine him singing. ewwwwww!

Wasn't he in Rhinestone Cowboy with Dolly Parton as his manager trying to start his country and western career? Considering I can barely understand him when he talks I couldn't imagine anything worse than him attempting a singing career. Yo,,,Adrian!!...

I agree , but people want to see their stars, look at Dolly Parton, not a great singer, but very muched loved by men...so she became famous.
If you're famous you can sing if ya want I guess.

I really don't care xD because I dont listen to their songs when it comes out. I barely listen to the radio nor watch tv much. I only listen to the music I want to hear.
