Sprinkles is on a distinguished road
Default Classic movie fans what are some of the best songs/soundtracks you've heard?

I have purchased piano music for My Heart Will Go On (Titanic) and Tara Theme (Gone With the Wind).

I am going to purchase Moon River (Breakfast at Tiffany's) and An Affair to Remember (An Affair to Remember).

I was wondering if you had any other recommendations. I prefer buying piano music for well-known classic movies (you know, the old ones that everyone from the 1900's seems to know and love ) and not recent ones like Pirates of the Caribbean.

I will be buying off of sheetmusicplus.com, by the way.

I've been playing piano for about 7 years.

Post the name of the song and the movie it was from.

Thanks!
By the way, I like beautiful, haunting melodies like Moon River that get stuck in your head easily. But tell me all of your favorites and I will look them up on YouTube!
How is the music from Ghost, Casablanca, and Dr. Zhivago?

I haven't seen any of them yet, but I need to order the music asap. I'll be seeing the movies in a month or so, during the summer.

I still listen to my Top Gun soundtrack CD once in a while, so many good songs, Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins is one of my favorites.

I like the Top Gun soundtrack myself.

I still think my favorite soundtrack has to be the "Lost Boys" soundtrack.

"I Still Believe" ~ Tim Capello
"People are Strange" ~ Echo & The Bunnymen
"Good Times" ~ INXS

My all time favorite song from any soundtrack that I own, is "Blue Moon" by the Mavericks from Apollo 13, a great song one of my all time favorites.

Nobody's perfect,,,besides I can always set things right again with a blast of Gamma Ray or Primal Fear.(And ahem, I've had a lot of success with that particular romantic song on numerous occasions.)

I think the sound track for Fast times at Ridgemont High was outstanding.

Another great one was The Breakfast Club.
