I watched an old classic B-Monster movie when I was eating dinner last night; "The Beast Must Die", with Peter Cushing and Calvin Lockhart?,,,Anyway this wealthy eccentric guy who has hunted and killed every big game animal invites a bunch of people to come and stay at his estate for a weekend, meanwhile he stakes out his whole estate with electronic surveillance equipment to keep and eye out for a werewolf, which he suspects one of his guests of being. The action was good and the dinner scene was great when he gets all of his guests and his wife to put a silver bullet in their mouth to see if something happens. I really enjoyed this film, and for a B movie it was above average. A good halloween movie for the whole family.

Finally started catching up on some movies I've got recorded but haven't viewed yet. Last night I watched "Continuum" the latest movie from the Stargate franchise. I was a big fan of the original series and have both of the movie releases as well. The cast is good as usual in this one, all the old characters are back, the main adversary is "Baal" the last of the Go'auld system lords. He has a very complicated plan to finally even the score with our heroes. He goes back in time and changes the future, becomes leader of the system lords with unlimited power, and it does look bleak for SG-1, but our heroes manage to prevail. I'm not a very big fan of "Temporal Timeline" stories as a rule, this one was alright but after it ended I was thinking about how I would have written the last chapter, occupational hazard after watching so many movies, having read so many books, I always seem to find myself thinking of a different/better way to achieve the same result than the screenwriters come up with.
I would give this one 3/5, because I'm a fan I will put it in my collection, if you don't like Stargate then wait for it to arrive on your specialty channels.

I saw the promo for The Curious Case Of Joe Buttons, but I don't know about the other movie you mentioned. The Buttons movie looks interesting and I'm sure all the Brad Pitt fans will be going wild when they see it.

I saw a very good movie last week, Untraceable starring Diane Lane. She is an internet specialist working for the FBI keeping track of serious illegal activities and keeping the internet safe. A psycho starts up a site where he kills people online in horrible ways, and the more people that log in the faster he kills his victims. It was very graphic, but all in all it was well done and acted. I would only change one small thing and it would have been almost a perfect story.
I give this one a 3.5/5, worth watching, but be warned some scenes are gruesome.
