I'm not usually for this type of music (victory bands lol) but these guys are a talented group. Lyrics are usually the thing that gets me liking a group and these guys have some pretty deep songs. Sometimes they get a little emo with the whole 'slicing my wrists' thing, but I can get passed that. They're from Long Island, New York. Their former drummer John "Beatz" Holohan was killed in a car crash on October 31st, 2005, after the band's tour vehicle slipped on a patch of ice and slid off of the road. Several of the band members also suffered injuries in the crash. After the death of Beatz, they got a new drummer and re-released the album, The Walking Wounded, with acoustic versions of some of their songs in rememberance of Beatz.

Jack O'Shea - lead guitarist
Nick Ghanbarian - bassist

Oh! My sister's ex-fiance was into Bayside. I listened to one of their albums and while it was good it didn't really stand out to me. But I should listen to it again. I really, really love their song "Don't Call Me Peanut" though.
