Most of those bands aren't "indie", but it seems to me indie is more of a sound nowadays rather than a state. The Dresden Dolls are excellent, and Be Your Own Pet has a nice punky sound. Those are some of the best newish bands I've heard and I like a lot of the bands that you like up there. Good Luck!

Madina lake, saosin, and evaline are my favs.

I really like Eric Solomon. Hes a little different than the other bands suggested here, but he has a really soulful, rock sound that is super original. definitelyl check him out on myspace!

I would say check out..
Roulette and Mew.. two totally diff types of music but one of em will be on your top fav of the year for sure.
