Default Reccomend a Indie/Alternative Band

Okay, do you know anything about this one? The band is in a club with red lights. On the dance floor is this girl with brown hair cut like a boys' and she has a leather jacket on and a long white shirt underneath. She starts dancing with this guy but then a boy with long-ish blond hair enters and she can't stop looking at him. After the song ends, she leaves, and the blonde follows her outside and they start talking. The band has a 70s vibe.
The male lead singer almost sounds like a woman at the beginning.
And they have been said to sound like Smashing Pumpkins.

Thank you very much! I did end up hearing them on the radio a bit ago and found them. I kept mixing them up with Straylight Run for some reason. Thanks very much for answering!

u can always just do what i do, troll itunes for new music. Heres what you do: look up an artist you already like, then click on the artists that others bought music from as well. Keep going down the line, eventually you will find bands you haven't heard of, and thats when u start finding music you really like that you would never hear of without this process.

yeah... if u like Good Charlotte , there is a compilation series you should check out called "Euro Club Hits" --

it's pretty clear that dance music is coming back around the world -- just check the recent big American hip-hop and R&B hits which are clear rip-offs of the european dance style.....

here's the direct iTunes link to the "Euro Club Hits" series.....

Default I am in need of fresh music. Indie/Alternative rock works well. I like

bands such as The Killers. Help? Other bands I like-
We the Kings, The Academy Is..., The Decemberists, other stuff like that. This music should be somewhat unknown preferably. I don't want anything like Fall Out Boy or Panic!. Newer fresher and not ravaged by popularity just yet, hopefully.
Thanks a bunch,
Carmen~
