We'll i'm really into prog metal and thrash, so I like to blend the two styles together in my playing. I'm also a blues fan so my solo's have traces of BB King and Clapton in them. But for me, prog is where it's at.
Cool, I'm working on a solo right now. One of those long instumentals that feels like it's telling a story, coolest part is, my guitar is tuned a whole step down for it. I could go from that to playing Death lol
