That's a though one cause I don't know what you already got.
But for Blues I'd suggest the Blues Brothers :-)
And for ROCK, I can recommend AC/DC works fine with me.
I never ride my car without AC/DC.

I don't really know much about blues, but is the blues in Blues Brother classed as good blues music?

To add to the Blues Artists list:
  • *Stevie Ray Vaughn
    *Santana
    *Eric Clapton
    *Allman Brothers
    *Kenny Wayne Shepherd
    *Freddie King
    *Bonnie Raitt
that should get you started on a decent compiled CD!

Enjoy!

i think it depends on what youre into really, ya got texas blues, nola blues, chicago blues... im really into dark blues, kinda progressive and sad sounding. you should check out a band called jeremy kilgore... look them up, or check them out on myspace.. kinda pink floydish, with a newer darker twist

MySpace.com - jeremy kilgore - BAYTOWN, Texas - Acoustic / Folk Rock / Indie - www.myspace.com/jeremykilgoreband

Hello GodofGrey! Welcome to MuzicForums.

Just a reminder, we do not allow myspace links in the forum. However, the link you provided is to a blues singer which is directly related to the thread, so I will allow this link. Just keep in mind, that those links will be edited out of posts in the future.

Thank you,
Magic

Talking I've got a great blues CD to recommend for you!

I L-O-V-E this album!

Continuum-John Mayer

I know he usually makes pop music or whatever, but this album is a great blues record and I think John did an amazing job on it.
