My last word about our local city officials, they are forging ahead to borrow 25 Million dollars to build their new city hall, despite the fact that the taxpayers all are against it. It's like they are living in a bubble of stupidity, everything in our province has been affected by the world economic disruption and yet they seem to think that they can do whatever they want even though it means a 9% property tax hike next year. We are trying to get a plebiscite to force them to have a vote on this issue but they simply refuse to consider it. I guess the fact that we have a great deal of industrial tax wealth here makes them feel impervious to outside influences, but how on earth did we ever allow our politicians to get this much control over us is beyond me.

I once had a dream where people did what they liked, they listened to what they liked, they even respected what other people listened to even if the band technically didn't have talent. People listened to bands for enjoyment not for talent and if the band they liked had talent all the better. They even used correct spelling and facts.
None of the. yo dawg dis is sooo hawt. screw de heters. tis artist is so amasing. Record companies gave artist freedom to write what they want and music was cheaper. Mtv wasn't controlling what artist they let on there show. There wasn't a bunch of you tube flamers who acted e-tough and like there opinion was better than yours.

Then I woke up and touched reality. John lock was right. The only reason we need government is because of the stupid people(extremely paraphrased version but you get the idea).
Or the people who get pissed off at the stupid people and just want to punch them and knock some since back into them.
Like me. lol

Sorry I say this so much. But I 'm going to say it again. Music is a matter of taste not talent. Why do people need to go watch music videos they hate just to leave hate comments about the artist.

All my life i've been growing to blasting METAL and GOTHIC music, Not saying I dont like that kind of music (I listen to it everyday!) Like for example im listening to Marilyn Manson and people where im at are looking at me like im a wierdo.. I mean it's my desion what kind of music I listen to right? Theres a girl at school that listens METAL, we're always talking about that kind of music and one of are teachers tells us to stop cause she thinks the people in the bands are "devil worshipers," some might be but not all, like my band we all go to church and pray to god (soz if i offend anyone here.) But when we play in my garage my friends always gather around and cheer for us and other people are like "WTF?!?!?" I personaly play the drums. At this time my ipod switched to Slipknot. But back to things this has been bothering me for a long time now... If anyone else is affected in this situation please by all means post under this...

You should be proud in what you listen and do. I don't care if people stare at me for being gothic and listening to metal/rock music. if they dont like it.. you know what **** off. People I hang out with dont really mind that I am like that because they accept me for me. if people give me weird looks I be like.. You got something to say, if you dont then stop looking.. Or what you never seened an asian person as a goth?..

People can look they can stare..

I never prejudge anyone, no matter what music they like or how they dress. I might think that studs through your eyebrows are a little out there, but different strokes for different folks, that's what makes life interesting.

I'm pissed that I have to go back to school in 5 days...It's not that I hate school or anything but we go back for 2 WEEKS then get 3 more off for exam break. WTF!!! Why can't we just start 2 weeks earlier and be done for the semester december 20?!?!?! IT's JUST STUPID!!!
And for that matter why does there have to be 12 grades? did someone some time in the past just decide "hey, I hate children, so lets make them spend the 12 best years of their lives in a failing institution that serves no REAL purpose but to supply a theoretical knowledge of concepts that have NO real world application." I mean really, how many people NEED to use advanced calculus every day to survive, or need to know that titrarion is...
If we HAVE to be in school for 12 years, teach us something useful like financial managment or budgeting or basic people skills, not how to color or who the last tsar was or some other bull**** like that.
I don't hate school or anything, I really don't, but could they do SOMETHING right for a change?? For example, the Alberta Government decided that by 2010 they want every classroom in the province to have a smart board. It's a good idea, but they ****ed it up realy badly. **** like that is expensive and where does the money come from? EVERYWHERE ELSE!!! so now we have a smart board. woo...BUT WE HAVE NO PAPER LEFT IN THE SCHOOL! It's so bad we actually have to pay to use school printers. 10 cents a sheet. well yeah it's just ten cents, but you need to print off just one sheet of paper, well you better hope you have ten cents or your hella ****ed. Forget the fact that it's for your final class essay and NEED it to pass the class (this actually happened to a friend of mine). No no no no you need that one dime to get the sheet and if you don't have it, then your **** outta luck!
anyways...I have to stop myself before I really get going here....
