I have found over my lifetime that very few politicians ever follow through on what they promise when they campaign, they will say and do anything to achieve victory and sell their soul in the process. Not being an American I won't get too specific except that change is good, if for no other reason that McCain wants to continue with the certifiably insane economic policies of the Bush administration, , that alone should ensure his defeat at the polls.

Here We go again another idiot. Of course McCain is republican. Obama dosen't have the experience we need in a president. With his socialistic view's. the next 8 years are going to be worse then the last. With Americas stupidity level Obama will be elected again just like bush was.

the next 8 years depends on if we want to have Obama as president again. one term is 4 years i believe. so if people vote for some republican for the next election, we will only have Obama for 4 years.

Every presidential candidate has flaws. And in the end, we'll have to choose the one with the most non-damaging economic strategies and tactics to us as Americans. At the moment, though Obama supports abortion and plans on raising taxes to, hopefully, save the economy, these seem to be better strategies than McCain's plans to "remain the same," for the next 4 years. Remain the same as Bush? Yeah, that won't work so well...

If you change Republican to Conservative then Applenux's comment makes sense. Have some patience when someone from abroad offers a harmless opinion about a foreign country's political situation. If the Americans vote Republican again, then I will lose all hope for them returning to what there own Constitution states as their inalienable rights as citizens. The GOP needs to be utterly defeated and rebuild itself after the disastrous Bush/Cheney era, worst in your country's entire history.(The Civil War notwithstanding.) Is Obama experienced?,,,maybe not as much as McCain, but McCain should have defeated Bush years ago and run for President, his time is past as far as I'm concerned.

first off, Obama does not completely support abortion, unlike the Democratic side. Republicans are wanting to make it a law that it's illegal to get an abortion. Obama is pro choice, so for that, any woman should be given the choice to get an abortion or not.

just like the Gay marriage rights. Obama doesn't support the fact of marriage but he does support the fact that two men or two women should have the right to be in a partnership and love eachother.

Obama, with the taxes, wants the raise taxes for people who are far more wealthy than others. And i support him in that, mainly because its fair for people with more money to have to spend more money to keep their money. It makes legitimate sense.

So he does support some things that McCain is supporting but not fully.

Yea how is obama going to get all the money to run all his programs. Don't say from the war in Iraq. We never had the money for the war to begin with.

you make a good point. but that's sort of the same thing with McCain, how are either of them going to get the money. obviously it will not be from the war in Iraq, and the government will not give them all that money either. i guess we have to wait and see.
