just heard some great riddles, so I thought, let's post one...

RULES:
-Post a riddle, after min 24hours you may post the answer. If someone guesses right, post as soon as possible that it was right.

-Always quote the riddle you are talking about!

- If you don't like riddles, or don't really think deeply for the answer, don't answer at all...

- Riddles are solvable.. "How did the cat die?" Is NOT a riddle, it's a question... On the other hand, this IS a riddle:

"You are in Room A. There are 3 light switches. In room B there are three lamps. Your goal is to find out witch switch is connected to wich lamp. Only problem is: you cannot see the lamps and neither can you return to room A, once you left it... And room B is down the hall (don't try to peek around the corner, it won't work).... So you get 1 chance to figure it out!"

Why is this a riddle ? Because it doesn't have a lame answer, it needs thinking... The answer isn't something like "run faster than light" or whatever... It is solvable in real life too...

Ok...riddles

(if the lightswitch is a riddle, I cant solve it) but i would see if the electric was hot!

You turn one on for a while, turn it off. Then turn another on on.
The one that is hot is the first stiwch, the one that is on is the second switch, the one that is off is the switch you never used.

Heard that one is quest =]

a boy and his father were driving at night when their car slid and crashed. the father died immediately, but the boy was still alive. he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. the paramedics told the doctor that the boy needed an operation ASAP. the doctor replied, "i can't operate on this boy, he is my son." who was the doctor?

a POUND of gold will ALWAYS be worth more than 1/2 pound of gold! lol

Not that hard...

An egg for example... Or those glowy sticks... Or ice (in a pack)..

The answer to my last riddle was correct (wait for the lamp to heat up)

Next:

You have 10 sacks of marbles. In every sack there are 10 marbles (so a 100 marbles all togheter). In 9 sacks there are marbles that weigh 10grams. In a 10th sack all the marbles weigh 11 grams...
You can only weigh once!
And you need to know witch sack contains the heavy marbles..

So: 10 sacks, 10 marbles, 10grams, except one sack: in that one all marbles weigh 11 grams. Only one use of the weightingtable...
Marbles may be used, moved, scrambles and tossed in the air...
