Let's discuss the TV shows that you don't like and why, any era any genre is fair game.

I'm going to get in trouble for this, but I literally can't stand the CSI franchise, and even worse all of the copycat shows. I do not understand the fixation on dead mangled bodies even if some people argue it's the "Science" and catching the perp's as the reason they watch. I used to like "Who Are You?", by the Who but after being overplayed to death as the theme song, I don't know if I'll ever listen to it again without thinking, "OMG", how could you sell one of your best songs to a morbid TV show . If I had to say one good thing about any of these shows it would be that if the original one had remained unique in the field then it wouldn't be so bad, but most TV executives are so lacking in imagination that all they seem to do is copy another shows success hoping to keep up with their rival networks.

The sooner someone does an autopsy on all of these programs, the happier I will be.(One exception, "Dexter" a totally new take on this kind of program, I'm not a huge fan but I do like the premise for the show.)

I must be the only TV critic in here,,,. Alright I'll add another one of the less than satisfying programs to my list, this time it's Cop/Detective shows. They have been beating this genre to death since I was a little kid, and I doubt that they have many new stories to tell that I haven't already seen over the years. I particularly don't like the "Law & Order" franchise, all of them not just the original. Same stories, same tired corruption of the system by lawyers and courtroom politics, makes me wonder why we don't burn all the courtrooms in the world to ash and start from scratch. I will not shed one tear when this franchise of shows goes into hibernation or preferably extinction, I may however have a cold beer to celebrate their demise.

I agree with you on the CSI, i personally hate CSI Miami, having to look at David Caruso's face is horrifying, i thought the original Law and Order with Micheal Moriarty was good but then **** Wolf just whored himself out to get more money, same with the CSI franchise and the same with the star wars franchise as well

I absolutely agree Magic, that whole genre of talk shows from know it all blowhards makes me sick, I blame Oprah for getting him started, come to think of it I don't much like her either.

Most reality shows, but especially the ones where you're SUPPOSED to try to screw over the competition. Aren't people ugly enough, without publicly exposing their darker sides?

Yes I agree about the whole "Reality" show craze that seems to finally be running out of steam and viewers. I take a lot of personal pride from the fact that I never watched any of them ever, staged, scripted, manipulated content, about as far from real as you can get. I am with you Fyrenza about the back stabbing etc., what a great human trait to base an entire television genre upon.

People have been telling stories, watching plays and entertaining each other for centuries, we have just taken it to a new level of sophistication. I don't watch a lot of television, but I do have an extensive video collection of the shows that I really enjoy, I've been collecting them for almost 20 years now.

Movies are were it is at. Tv sucks.

I hate never ending shows.
Like some would be good as a mini series. Like dinatopia (sp?)

I also hate csi and other shows like them. They are so depressing. who wants to watch a show about a girl being raped.
Or a guy being brainwashed then killed.

Last but not least the man hater channel. Lifetime.
The channel were movies can and will have bad endings. Plus all the stuff about abuse, pregnancy and killing.

There was one where this dad marries this girl. The girl kills both his kids. They get in a fight. He thinks he killed her but she escaped into a different state and he gets all the blame.

My sister watches all of these shows
