A fun thread for us to talk about anything and everything, local politics, the world as you see it, forum gossip, a potpurri of mostly harmless chat.
Forum news, Magic has added a new forum in the Musician's Section, we are hoping that our musical friends use it to share their own creations with us.
There was a Buckethead sighting this weekend, apparently he was captured by rabid fans and held captive for a few days, he has recently escaped so we hope to see more of him in the forum.
Geelove and Misfitlove have apparently disappeared again, we certainly hope they are alright and will return to add their fun to the forum again, we miss you both.
Kiss & Peck has returned and we are glad to see him back, hopefully he doesn't go awol again soon.
Lord Grendel is practicing his en Francais so he doesn't offend our resident expert Monsieur Applenux the next time he attempts to write in French.
Neverlife is reportedly trying to form a band and we hope that he is successful, and look forward to hearing his music in our listening lounge.

i was also held captive by the sickness fairy and was obsolete for a few days on end.

I had noticed that, and welcome back Under.
When I do brush up on my French you will be surprised, I was very fluent years ago and just have a little rust to knock off, something you have to use on a regular basis or you forget all the intricacy's of the language.

ya. i had the same problems with learning Spanish. I used to be very educated in the language, and now all i know is the simplicities. which doesn't help me with much =[

I would like to report that Oblivionofsoul has some awesome music recommendations in his journal. And his "riddles" thread was really cool !!
We have another great member, who recently joined, Fyrenza. And I think he/she needs to start a music journal, let us know more about them 
I think we finally talked TheColorJake into using less of those energy drinks.
DrBenway, really needs to post some more "sick jokes" because I have memorized all the old ones 
Under is a good dancer!
Drake Kamhout posted the "sexist guy" picture so far, IMO.
I think we need to send out an SOS to Poisonlady, Luvsavingable, and Damo to make sure they are OK!!

I hate that saying "gun shy" lol....just keep in mind, it is YOUR journal, and if someone puts up a post you dont want in there, just report it...and voila...it will be gone!

Ok, well here's a breakdown of news from my area! Just cause I know you all want to know
Neverlife Land
Its cold, not freezing, but cold, no doubt about that. I had another diversion meeting (mini-probation) ran in to a couple of people I know from the CCDC "Regrets" class, that I had to take for diversion. We swapped myspace, talked, etc. And then I drove home (2nd day with the car!). The band is on some kind of hold, go, kind of thing. We haven't played a single note together (Me and 1 other guy at the moment, with maybe a drummer). We've pretty much covered album art (Waiting the TheColorJake, for ideas! Respond to me!), and the way the name works, and kind of stuff, we've decided to be a cover band for the moment, and the first song we will play is "Ready To Fall" by Rise Against. But we haven't even started on the music. I'm just getting ready for life to throw something at me. Then try to work my way out of there. Musically, I'm regressing to my metal roots, listening to a lot of Dragonforce, System of A Down, and Firewind, but getting into Dream Theater.
So aren't you happy now?
