They use it in a different meaning, they call each other nigga, or whatever.. big deal, who cares?

When a white person calls him "nigger" obviously it will offend him.

Perversely - some use it as a term of endearment while others use it maliciously.

Im thinking its just part of this whole hip hop culture thats going on. Also wether or not a black person will get mad at you for using the word probably depends on the person and the context that you are using the word in. Some ppl have a problem with it no matter who says it, just based on the negative connotation that is associated with the word. Others believe that using it as a "good thing" takes away from the negativity associated with the word.
