Default What are you reading right now?

Our official Book Club thread. If you are reading anything of interest share it with us here. Again I'll go first.

I'm reading "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien, it's been a few years since I read this book so I'm doing the whole series again.(The Lord of the Rings is next) I always get something out of his magnificent contribution to literature, and I find I can revisit them every few years and get caught up in his world all over again. Highly recommended for those fans of imaginative fantasy literature, even if you have seen the great movie interpretation of the books, they are complementary to each other not exclusive. I read the complete series when I was 12 years old and they are my all time favorite novels.

I'm so glad you guys have a reading area.....I am a school librarian so I love books. The book I am reading right now is called "Change of Heart" by Jodi PicoultIt's about an inmate on death row who wants to give his heart to a child who needs a transplant. (Lots of twists and turns, don't want to give too much away). Jodi Picoult is an awesome author, she writes about subjects in the news that maybe taboo to talk about. I recommend any of her books.

I'm glad to see I'm not the Only one that still enjoys reading a good book. Just finished the Hobbit and now the rest of the LOTR's trilogy is next.

Yeah I was always 3 grades ahead of all my classmates when it came to reading and comprehension when I was young and I just enjoy the world he created and his skill with language fascinates me. I'm an addict and I admit it.
