Fyrenza's Fabricated Files

Howdy! i'm pretty new here, but would like to start right out with this:
i'm not an album listener. i could probably count the actual albums that i like on my fingers and toes, so my journal will not be about complete albums, but rather the Variety Mixes i make for myself for driving, goofing around the house, etc.
Sometimes i'll keep the individual bands in a group on the Mix ~ other times, i'll try to get a flow going, and totally mix 'em up.
Oh, yeah, and i'm OLD ~ 378 in dog years ~ so some of this stuff is going to definitely be Retro!
This was one of my first Mixes, side one:
Too Low for Zero ~ Elton John YouTube - Elton John - Too Low For Zero (Live)
Silent Running ~ Mike and the Mechanics YouTube - Silent running
Stranger ~ Jefferson Starship YouTube - Familiar Stranger - Jefferson Starship live
Turn Me Loose ~ Loverboy YouTube - Loverboy-Turn Me Loose
Lay it on the Line ~ Triumph YouTube - Triumph - Lay It On The Line
Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love ~ Van Halen YouTube - Van Halen-Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
No On Like You ~ Scorpions YouTube - Scorpions - No One Like You: Original - PCM Version
Wheel in the Sky ~ Journey YouTube - Journey - Wheel In The Sky
Holding Out for a Hero ~ Bonnie Tyler YouTube - (low res) Bonnie Tyler - Holding Out For A Hero - TOTP 1985
All Along the Watchtower ~ Jimi Hendrix http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVhqyyyNRkg
Hope y'all enjoy!

That's a very good start Fyrenza, I know every one of those songs myself. My favorite song on your list is "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" by the original and best line-up of Van Halen.

Yeah, there are some folks that were living in Kingsville, Texas, that will never hear that song without thinking of me... (i used to sing it.)
<sigh> The good old days, when i still had a gizzard (thyroid) AND my vocal chords, intact. They were damaged in the gizzard-ectomy, unfortunately.
BLINK!
NEW Life, coming right up!
It was just one of those times when something happens, and you look up, and there is where you were and where you were going, but now, you're over here, and it's all new, again.
It's sorta spooky, but it's never been boring!
(These things seem to happen to me, a lot...)

That is a good list Fyrenza I have all of those except Cyndi Lauper and the Jefferson Starship songs. Takin' me back to when I was young and reckless.
