I got the idea for this journal from magic's Rock History Time Line - http://www.muzicforums.com/member-jo...time-line.html (Rock History time line) but im going to have my time line introduce and maybe RE-introduce some people before our years and say what they did or how they helped with our society in ways you wouldn't never think of. Or maybe a few works that they did in their time. Im going to be talking about Scientists, Actors, Musicians, everything along the lines of People to Music. So it wont focus on music only, it will focus on everything i ever wanted you to know about. I may focus a lot on american literature because i have a strong passion for that but we will see how this goes as it goes along.

Good idea Under, but I would call it "Under's History of Culture" or the "Renaissance of Western Culture by Under", direct and to the point.

Excellent idea, Under. I think we all could use a history lesson and be exposed to some culture. You know I will be a faithful reader of this journal
I have read some works of Lord Byron...

Moving a little bit more up in music into the 1900's. Maybe some from the 1800's, maybe a few.
In my opinion, most of the music that you will see from the 1900's had a lot to do with World War I, especially with Harry Carroll and Oley Speaks. There were a vast amount of songs and musicians around the time of World War I which had served a great purpose to those who love non-modern music. So called, the "Oldies"
1900's Music
The Ballroom Decade was in 1910. That's where the dancing music comes from for "Ballroom" Dancing.
Some artists in the 1900's include:
Hughie Cannon - 1877:1912
Famous for: "Just Because She Made Them Goo-Goo Eyes"
Harry Von Tilzer - 1872:1946
Famous for: "A Bird in a Gilded Cage"
Ethelbert Nevin - 1862:1901
Famous for: "Mighty Lak' a Rose"
Teresa Del Riego
Famous for: "O Dry Those Tears"
Irving Berlin
Famous for: "When the Midnight Choo-Choo Leaves for Alabam'"
music from the 1800's coming soon...
