I don't know how I forgot this - the McGarrigle sisters, Kate & Anna. Beautiful folk music. I'll have to post something about them in the new Folk subsection.

Okay, like I said in my last entry, this entry is all about Amanda Marshall.

Amanda Marshall is a pop-rock singer from Toronto. The first time I heard one of her songs was actually when someone preformed one of them on Canadian Idol quite a few years back.

I didn't know this but she grew up in a bi-racial family. Her mother was black and her father was Caucasian. She's had three albums released and I will share some of my favourite songs by her.

YouTube - Amanda Marshall - Let It Rain (The song that Muzoid requested and the first song I heard by Amanda)
YouTube - Amanda Marshall - I Believe In You (Very inspiring song )
YouTube - Amanda Marshall - Sitting On Top Of The World (There is a remake of this by LeAnn Rimes)
YouTube - Amanda Marshall - If I Didn't Have You (This is probably my favourite Amanda Marshall song)
YouTube - Amanda Marshall - Dark Horse (Ignore the video! the actual music video on YouTube had really crappy sound quality and I wanted you to be able to hear the full awesomeness of the song)
YouTube - Amanda Marshall - Sunday Morning After (This is a really fun song)

So, please enjoy Amanda Marshall! Next time, I'll be talking about a band I actually had the pleasure of meeting: Trooper.
