Okay, so I am Canadian. Proudly so. So I thought I would share some of my favourite Canadian bands and singers with you guys. I'll start with Live On Arrival. They are a rock/alternative group from Winnepeg, Manitoba. I first heard them about 2 or 3 years ago on the radio. I later found out that their name comes from an experience that lead singer Robb Nash had before forming the band. He was under the influence and ended up in a car crash where he was announced dead on arrival. However, he regained consciousness and now works with MADD to show the effects of drunk driving. Greetings follow Canuck! There is a Canadian tunes thread I started a while back...no worries though, I will just merge them when I find it...it's jam packed with killer Canadian masterpieces. I am VERY proud to be Canadian! I'll make a request for Let It Rain....by A.M. Cheers!

Just incase you have not heard of them, sHEAVY is a Canadian stoner rock/doom metal band and are pretty good. Check them out on youtube if you haven't already. Good journal so far!

Come on, people! What about Joni Mitchell? Neil Young? Bruce Cockburn? Leonard Cohen? BTW, LG, Lighthouse did my very favorite version of "Eight Miles High" on their live LP. Craig in Indy
