So I'll be posting some reviews, have some rants and just in general talk about music. I'll try to keep it organized and stuff, so yeah... So i guess i'll write a review already.
A few things to begin, I would like for you guys to disagree with some things that i say, not to argue, just to have a conversation and discuss something. If you think something i say is wrong, just say so and we can discuss it. These are not promotions for any band, just recommendatiion (oviously). If you'd like to see a review of a band, just say so and I'll see what i can come up with. This is gonna be mostly anything to do with Rock, Screamo, Metal, Indie, Punk, Electronica, and a few other genres thrown in, so keep looking here to see what i post.

Alesana

Shawn Milke: vocals, guitar, piano
Dennis Lee: vocals
Adam Ferguson: guitar, vocals
Patrick Thompson: guitar
Steven Tomany: bass
Jeremy Bryan: drums

I myself don't own any of their albums, i get most of my music from the internet to put on my mp3 player. Anyways this band has had a good lineup.
Many people don't like Shawns clean vocals, but to me they are perfect. I meen his voice is high pitched, but it fits in good mwith the music. Dennis probally isn't the best screamer but does and fudgin' good job at wat he does.
Their first album was 'On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax' They brought in a number of crowds. Headbangers liked their awesome riffs, Emo/Scene kids liked their emotional lyrics, and much more. Anyways my point is their a good screamo band that has a large varity of fans. But sadly their newest released CD 'Where Myth Fades To Legend' Hasn't been as big of a deal.Alesana will fight its way into your stereos and into your hearts.

Greenday
They could be the most overrated fake-punk band, ever!
Billie Joe Armstrong
Mike Dirnt
Tré Cool
These three guys are talented, no lie i own one of their cds. But i get tired when people go around aying that Greenday is a true punk band. They are completly wrong, if you want to listen to punk bands i'll make a whole list of them. Anyways Greenday started in 1986, or 1897 don't remeber, i'll check later. Anyways they now have two bands, yep correct Foxboro Hot Tubs are Greenday. All 3 memebers.Foxboro Hot Tubs is a 60's influenced rock band if anyone was wondering. My favorite cd by Greenday is Dookie, very cool sound. Anyway, cool band, just a tiny bit overrated, and always in the wrong genre.

Hey always great to see someone starting a journal Thecolorjake, I know quite a bit about GD already, but I've never heard of Alesana until now. I'll let you know what I think of their music when I get some spare time.

The High Court
As promised here is a review of The High Court.
JB - Vocals
Ben - Guitar/Vocals
Denny - Drums
Shell - Bass/Vocals
Mike - Guitar
This band brkie up a litle while back, so nothing new will come from them unless they decide to get together again. They have one Cd out called Puppet Strings, good sound, their lyrics meen alot, about many subjects. They were a 'crunk' alternative band with a nice uptempo beat (cept for heaven on the horizon).Riffing guitar solos, and an irresistible personality , most definately worth listening too.

Nice Journal!

I am not a big fan of "Screamo" so Alesana is a bit brash for me. I am a mellow girl! LOL

Green Day is ok. I listen to them. I like American Idiot and Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

The High Court isn't too bad! A shame though they have broken up. The guitar riffs are great.

Pretty wicked mellowish alternative rock sound.
Mat Devine
Jonathan Radtke

This band started in 1994 and is still together. They have had former band memebers that include Garret Hommond. Many people Don't know were the name of the band originated, but Mat (lead singer) Formed the band in 1994 and named it after his ex-girlfriend (cold?) Kill Hannah just recently got popular with their relaese of the song Lips Like Morphine (Yes, i wana girl with lips like morphine) They have 4 studio albums: Here Are The Young Moderns (1998), American Jet Set(1999), For Never & Ever (2003) , Until Theres Nothing Left of Us (2006) They have like 7 eps wich include the release of Lips Like Morphine.
