Hmmm,,,I like the Teen Spirit cover much more than the Losing My Religion one, she is talented but like you said kind of holds back instead of letting it all go.
I really like Anouk's version of In The Corner though, very good much more feeling in her cover, than the two songs from Tori Amos that you offered.

(sorry magic, this isn't your stuff, but I've fed you enough for now I recon, last few topics could count as mellow... Though you might want to look at the cover done by Milow: Ayo technologie (spelling is actually like that, though you might want to search on the right spelling also...) Obviously this is a cover on the 50cent song that is widely known. I'm not sure you know Milow, since he is dutch... But on big download sites I could find his music very easely, so he could be well known also, have no clue...)

Wuthering Heights - Wow, they are amazing, I've got to find them, I mean just listen to the musicianship, they are VERY good.
Tori Amos - I love "Losing My religion" probably as much as you do, I really love it. But I like this cover, with her voice and everything, its very emotional. I like a lot.

Hey, Oblivion, you should turn your lady friend on to a group called "Stars". They are indie, from Canada. I stumbled on them a few days ago, and have been listening to them nonstop the past few days. They are sorta electronic in sound but the vocals are amazing. check out this POST. (Stars)
