Listened to Unter Baumen until his vocals started, instant turn off. Sorry.
I'd recommend giving October a listen. The vocal style on that track is very different.
OP updated to include the new album, which is rather solid. Not their best but it has a lot going for it.
Yeah, these guys just aren't for me.
I actually don't mind their sound. I like their mix of progressive and black metal. I think I actually listened to them a little while ago because I think you put a song in the chatbox, which I actually wasn't really a big fan of. I listened to the songs you posted now, though, and I'm actually digging the sound right now. I'll have to look up some more stuff by them later. They have a pretty interesting style.
