Default Superbowl 44 Halftime

Ok, so if you really are a music lover, you were bound to watch the Superbowl halftime show. For those of you who didn't, THE WHOperformed. They did an ok job for a couple of old men, but I have seem them do better. What did everyone else think?

I thought it was fine for two men in their mid 60's performing their most mainstream songs... It was the Who, nothing more, nothing less...

Yeah, I know what you mean. Ha, its like watching the Rolling Stones. They have a funny drummer! He's so stiff!! XD But The Who has an amazing drummer, just to throw that in there. and the light show was pretty cool too

I was hoping for a better show though :\

Everyone I was around was saying a different band probably would've been better.

I'm quoting my earlier remarks in the chatbox on this topic.
Quote:
Daltrey’s voice has diminished, but he sounded alright. Townshend, shouldn't have had a mic...he was awful. His playing was still good though.

This was the coolest moment in all of the superbowl. Not their best times but hey, The Who is The Who.

Same Here! I heard there was this one kid though who could do, 140 windmills in a minute. XD I'm not sure of the relevance, but it is pretty amazing.

For me, it's exciting to see these guys no matter how creaky they've gotten... but, and I hate to say it but it's true, they are way past their prime.

I'd rather have seen Dave Gilmour and Roger Waters out there bashing out old Floyd songs to be honest, since those guys are still doing top-notch work. But i doubt you could have talked them into it.

If I REALLY had my druthers, they would have reunited the Soft Boys. Like that would ever happen on the scale of something like the superbowl!
