Carly Simon's career started from 1964 to still performing today. Carly Simon was born in New York City, New York on June 25, 1945. Her career started out unsuccessful when she teamed up with her sister, Lucy Simon, and created the duo The Simon Sisters with one minor hit called Winkin,' Blinkin,' and Nod. They had to break up after Lucy left the family to get married. They ended up making three albums together. Her solo career started in 1791, which is when she bacame a real success. Some of her hits include "That's the Way I Always Heard it Should Be," and "You're So Vain." She has one awarded many for her talent which includes two Grammy awards, an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe. She was put into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1994.
