I swear I posted lastnight but it never showed up. I've been trying to find the name of a song in other forums and had no luck. I will try to paste the text here again.....

Hello! I sure hope I can find this page again.
I am trying to find an older dance/pop/rap song that was pretty popular.
I have no words or anything but I saw how you people helped other ppl with the impossible.
All I know is the song was on the radio on pop stations. It had a constant not booming but bassy tone when in full swing. I was reminded of this song while listening to "No One" by Alicia Keys. It was the bass line that reminded my of this song and I know they are close but not the same. It was more of a tone that changed notes as the guy "rapped" but it wasn't really rap I dont think. I would guess the age to be 10 to 15 years or more recent.
You ppl have pulled a lot of rabbits out of your hats and this might fit right in.

possibly "clint eastwood" by gorillaz? it had a guy rapping, and the beat is about the same tempo as the akeys song... not sure - without more info to go on, that's about all i can offer up. hope you find what you're looking for...good luck!

OK, Take the Black Eyed Peas song, speed it up a little, and have more of a fake bass line.
Listen to Ice, Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice and notice how in the main word part, not the chorus part, the last bass note keeps going until the next chord change. Thats what the song I am trying to find sounds like but with a melody of the bass similar to the Black Eyed Peas song. Maybe a little faster too. A guy is rapping like the Black eyed Peas song also.
