I just heard this band on Sirus/XM the other day, and I looked them up...they've been around for a while doing the glam/80's thing, I guess? The song "Death To All But Metal" just cracked me up!

I have a copy of "Hammerfall's - No Sacrifice No Glory" and "Mastodon's - Crack The Skye", I can see there is a lot of metal in my diet coming up over the next while.

    Thanks for the list Jerry.

I didn't even realize Queensryche released a new album, i'm going to go pick that up soon.

as for Mastdons new album, its a little iffy for me. not the thrash that i would expect from Mastodon.

Hey Grendel, how you like the New Hammerfall tunes? I just picked it up today. I freaked out when i heard the My Sharona cover at the end. It was better than the original IMO. Haven't heard much off of Crack the Skye yet. Is it worth picking up?

I am a Hammerfall fan so I liked the new album and I did a double take when My Sharona came on at the end as well.......

Crack the Skye is more Prog than Thrash, but I like both styles of metal so yeah I like the new album a lot.

Totally new. Thank god, i like live stuff too but it gets old after a while. They said on the site that fans would be pleased. Constant motion was a real big up lift for them as far as heavier tunes. I can't wait for some new stuff myself. I guess i'm just a music "whore"

Good. i think i'll test drive it on Zune before i buy it though. I like prog and metal, especially when they are put together well. So it sounds like i would probably like it.

Yeah and almost half of DT's discography are live albums, so enough of that let's get some new material happening. I am a music "whore" myself, so you are in good company at least.
