Yeah, the rip of the disc stolen from the French music store has been all over the Net for a few days now.
Curiosity finally defeated principles I dont feel like writing review, just some main impressions.
Kinda strange thrash metal but it's thrash after all. No more these nu-metal and god-knows-what-else experiments and it pleasantly surprises. The main problem about the album is that it seriously lacks some drive which is essential for thrash. But it has some interesting musical turns and riffs that i desperated to see from them.
Serious step forward after St.Anger but i wouldn't be in hurry to say it's a return to their old spirit. More like they're back to their old style. Ardent sound was a great piece of their music and it's exactly what i havent found here, unfortunally. It's way different band and different sound.
Didnt catch me at all. But quite decent work whatsoever.

Their new song is amazing, the video is really meaningful too. Metalica will never die.
