Thread: Equipment Help

Hey Guys,
I have recently put together a band and we have decided to invest in a small personal recoerding studio. However, none of us have any previous experience with the equipment necessary to run one. So if anyone out there could list items we would need for a fairly simple recording setup i.e. mics, speakers, etc.

What is your budget?

Really all you need is a condenser mic and a preamp, or a USB mic.

An advise on USB is SE Electronics USB2200A 400$

Condenser: Samson CL7 about 200$
But you need a preamp for that.

USB2200A can run via usb and phantom power(preamp required).

Ah, usb's plug directly to your comp, so you dont need any additional stuff.
