Thread: Duran Duran!!

  1. #1

    Default Duran Duran!!

I'm such a huge fan of 80's music. Anybody else in here like the 80's? I think Duran Duran will have to be one of my favorites. Anyways, I just found out that they'll be releasing a DVD out soon!! They are releasing a DVD from the Eagle Rock Ent. classic album series, so this DVD will be based on their album "Rio."

    It'll be released on November 4th. I can't wait!

    Here's a preview on youtube

They ARE a classic rock band! One of the mods moved the thread into here.
    Anyways...
You should check them out, you'll recognize some of their songs. Like "Hungry for a Wolf" for example. I bet you anything that it'll sound somewhat familiar to you!!

Yeah sorry about that eightiesbaby80, we will be adding a new wave sub forum and put all of the Duran Duran type bands in there eventually, that is what we called them when they first arrived on the scene.

lord grendel: "Save a Prayer" was an awesome track!

The video for it was also amazing as well. They had a lot of great videos actually. That's one of the reason why I think the band did so great.

I wish we had more of this in the music industry nowadays.

I'm moving this to the rock forum, after thinking about it they are definitely more rock than pop.
